Year 4 Tennis Tournament

The Year 4 Tennis Tournament was held for cluster schools at St. Edmund Campion School on Tuesday 14th June.

The event was held playing short tennis in the school sportshall.

Only 2 schools were able to participate in this tournament, these being St. Peter's and St. Oswald's.

Teams consisted of 3 girls and 3 boys playing singles, competing in seperate games.

All the games were umpired by Year 12 boys taking their Community Sports Leaders awards. These were Allan Burns, Adam Carmichael and Steven Bigger and my thanks go to them for doing an excellent job.

St. Peter's were the stronger players on the day and won the majority of the games, in most cases by only one point from St. Oswalds.

Certificates were awarded to all competitors and my thanks go to them all and the teachers for giving up their time for this event.
