Teachers Trampolining Course

British Gymnastics Teachers Award in Trampolining

The Gateshead/Whickham School Sport Partnership are running a Teacher's Trampolining Award. The course will take place on Sunday 25th, Monday 26th & Tuesday 27th of September 2005 at Whickham School & Sports College (9:00-3:30pm).

The cost of this course and the resources each Teacher will be provided with will be £25.00

Course Description: This course is aimed at those who wish to prepare children for curricular or extra curricular activities and examination. The course covers the necessary skills up to and including back and front somersaults. Candidates will be expected to reach a personal level of performance that will support their practical coaching. The qualification is only valid within the school environment and cannot be used for vacation courses. The course is a mix of practical and theory.

Eligibility: P.E. specialist secondary school teachers with the ability to perform basic jumps and skills and teachers who are not P.E. specialists but hold a British Gymnastics Coach qualification.
