Y6 Fellside Cross Country
60 Year 6 puplis (30 boys and 30 girls) entered this years Year 6 Fellside Cross Country. Five schools took part - Front st, Fellside, Parochial, Clover Hill and Marley Hill
Results of the Whickham cluster:
Parochial school won the combined boysand girls race.
The area final took place on Wednesday 3rd May with representatives from Whickham, Blaydon and Derwent Valley with 24 boys and 24 girls racing.
Results:
Combined results meant that Whickham won, Blaydon were 2nd and Derwent Valley were 3rd.

Whickham took the first 3 places in boys the boys race-
Alex Kitchen (Fellside), 2nd Robbie Lorraine (Parochial) 3rd Zak Atkinson
(Front St)
GIrls race was won by Courtney Stones (Winlaton West Lane), 2nd Lauren Johnston
(Whickham Fellside) and 3rd Demi Bainbridge (Whickham Clover Hill)
Whickham area won the boys team event 2nd Blaydon 3rd Derwent Valley
The girls team trophy went to Blaydon, Whickham were 2nd and Derwent Valley
were 3rd
