Our curriculum maps have been adapted to fit in with tournaments and festivals. There is more coverage of learnig objectives across all three areas in PE

changes to activity program - oaa proving too diff. for y1/2 - so will change activity and leave oaa until y3/4. Wardley.
changes to be made after pupil survey that suggested certain activities were not covered as much as many would like. Bill Quay

Two schools have reviewed the current curriculum maps and altered as necessary but still know that some members of staff are not following the new map.

We organised an intra school dance festival around the Gateshead dance festival.

Our curriculum maps have been altered so that they are more balanced and in line with our tournaments.

We met to discuss schemes of work and agreed to use LCP as a basis with others added as necessary eg top dance. Each individual school then updated their own school curriculum map according to their needs. Activities were blocked and now fit in with tournaments etc.

We have revised our curriculum to fit in with Gateshead tournaments and activities (eg dance festival) and also Thomas Hepburn cluster events. Most notable changes have been some minor changes in upper KS2

We have all attempted to adapt our schemes of work so that there is more appropriate coverage of the 3 strands.

We have all incorporated the Val Sabin resources into our curriculum maps and feel that we are now covering the four strands of PE more efficiently.Our curriculum maps now fit in with the Gateshead festivals and tournaments.
