PLAYGROUND BUDDIES PROGRAMME LAUNCH

Pic%20069.jpg

The Gateshead/Whickham School Sport Partnership recently launched the Playground Buddies Initiative, which encourages KS2 Children to lead activities for KS1 Children at break and lunchtimes. The programme launch took place at Greenside Primary School (in the Ryton Cluster). A comprehensive resource pack was produced for all 50 Schools taking part in the scheme and all 'Buddies' have been provided with red & blue caps, to make them easily identifiable in the playground.

MANY THANKS TO ALL THOSE INVOLVED WITH THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE PROGRAMME, AND TO GREENSIDE PRIMARY SCHOOL STAFF AND PUPILS FOR ASSISTING WITH THE LAUNCH DAY!
