Gateshead's Young Ambassadors 2007
Having been nominated by their PE Department, Michael Bracchi and Jamie Leech (pictured above)
from Whickham School & Sports College have been selected to be Gateshead's 'Head' Young Ambassadors for Sport.
Being awarded this title is a great honour for both Michael & Jamie, and is also testament to the great work and support offered by the PE Department at Whickham School & Sports College. As Young Ambassadors, Michael & Jamie will be:
* Supporting the Olympic Ideals of striving for excellence and doing one's best.
* Promoting Physical Activity & Sport.
* Encouraging a positive contribution to Local Community through voluntary leadership.

MIchael & Jamie will be working as part of a Gateshead wide team of Young Ambassadors (with 2 being appointed from each SSCo Cluster within Gateshead).
In addition to this, a further 2 Young Ambassadors have also been appointed from The Cedars School & Sports College (Jessica Moat & Scott Iley). Jessica and Scott will be working alongside Michael & Jamie, looking to develop several new and fully inclusive initiatives across the Borough.
