Gateshead Secondary Schools Yr 7/8 Triathlon
Dunston Swimming Baths and Watergate Forest Park hosted the inaugural Gateshead Secondary Schools Year 7/8 Triathlon on Tuesday 10th June. Over 50 athletes from Cardinal Hume, Heworth, Joseph Swan and Whickham completed 3 lengths at Dunston Pool before heading to Watergate Forest Park to complete a cycle and run around a specially devised course.

The event was well received by all who participated and a special thanks must go out to the Young Leaders from Whickham School who contributed to the success of the day.
