TOP LINK Football for Cardinal Hume Cluster
The Top Link Football Festival was held for Girls and Boys at Birtley St Joseph's Junior School on 19th June 2008. 5 primary schools participated making a total of 5 boys teams and 4 girls teams competing in a round-robin tournament.
The competition was designed for those pupils who do not get a chance to play on their school team so that more pupils get a chance to compete against each other.

The tournament was a huge success with Birtley St Joseph's girls and St Augustine's boys lifting their respective trophies. It even only rained the once for a short time!
All pupils played in the spirit of the game with no referees.
