Sweden Sports Tour
Fifty five Y8 and Y9 students from Whickham School and Sports College participated in a sports tour during the summer holidays. Football matches were played against Swedish school and club teams. A strong Y8 team won all their matches and the Y9 team drew two games and lost one. The boys also took part in competitive Outdoor Activities. The tour was a huge success and the school even received letters from tourists who wrote to the school commenting on the students respect for others and their behaviour.
